About

I am a visual storyteller, a scientific communicator, and an educator of the public. My interests are focused primarily on exploring the natural and historic life of Richmond, Virginia in a narratively compelling way. My overall goal is to utilize my skills as an ecologist to engage with the community through visually informative material. When I am not bouncing around between projects, I’m out climbing rocks and mountains, collecting plants, and enjoying life in general.

Current projects include documenting all of Virginia’s scenic state parks, recording natural motifs through print media, and making someone’s written story come to life in short graphic novel. To see regular updates, visit my Instagram.
